Who we are
Yetiman is an AI solutions company based in Portugal and part of the Hypnotic group. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Yetiman is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Data we collect
We only collect data that we need in order to answer you, deliver our services and improve the website.
- Contact details you send us through forms, email or WhatsApp: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- Project information you share with us during an assessment, proposal or engagement.
- Technical data about your visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring source and approximate location.
- Data related to job applications, when you apply to work with us.
How we use your data
We use personal data for a limited set of purposes:
- Replying to your enquiries and preparing proposals.
- Delivering, supporting and improving the services you contracted.
- Sending updates or marketing communications when you have asked to receive them.
- Measuring website performance and understanding how our content is found, including in AI answer engines.
- Meeting our legal, accounting and contractual obligations.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, on the performance of a contract for work we deliver to clients, on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business for website analytics, and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time in your browser settings.
We use privacy-respecting analytics tooling and do not sell any data collected through the website.
AI tools and client data
Some of our services involve AI models and third-party AI platforms. When we process client data through these systems, we do so under written agreement, using enterprise or API configurations that exclude the data from model training wherever the provider offers that option.
We agree scope, retention and access with each client before any data is processed, and we never use client data to train models of our own without explicit written permission.
Sharing and processors
We share data only with service providers that help us operate: hosting and website infrastructure, email and CRM tools, analytics platforms, AI model providers and professional advisers. All of them act on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Some are located outside the European Economic Area, in which case transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, client project data for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by contract and accounting law, and job applications for up to 12 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Receive your data in a portable format, or withdraw consent at any time.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege permissions and vetted providers to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so if a breach affects your data and creates a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required by law.
Changes and complaints
We may update this policy as our services or the law evolve. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, contact us first at info@yetiman.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
